Korikea’s tribe were being framed by Maori cultists for the disappearance of a local white family. This was in revenge for Korikea’s involvement in the destruction of Napier cultists some two years earlier.<\/p>\n

The cultist tribe had desecrated Korikea’s burial grounds by placing ghouls in the caves and had stolen precious magic items from Korikea’s tribe (Tarangi included).
