Involvement
Alex’s mother’s sister married and emigrated to Napier, New Zealand 45 years ago. Her daughter, Julie, asked Alex for help when Julie’s husband disappeared.
Highlights
Investigations into the disappearance of Julie’s husband, John McAlister, while he and Julie were staying at Robert Sheldon’s farm. Results were the discovery of a siren monster, Sheldon’s “wife”, in a cave network on the farm. Siren was destroyed.
Julie was subsequently kidnapped by a cult group and rescued by the party from a cavern network under Napier. An earthquake occurred as a result of the priest casting an unsuccessful summoning spell and allowing an uncontrolled monster to appear. The monster left after the earthquake.
